As we begin our study in Paul's letter to the Ephesians, we are seeing a clear depiction of just what our purpose in life is all about, and what all it means to be in Christ . As our society becomes more and more secular, our daily life choices actually become clearer and clearer. We choose to either live for Christ in righteousness, or live for ourselves.
For too long, Christians have perceived the faith as an add-on to life—an extracurricular activity that we participate in by going to church on Sundays, praying at meals, at a wedding, at a birth, when someone is sick, or at a death.
